Privacy
The reference is built to work with as little of your data as possible. Reading a page counts the page, and searching records what was typed — both without any identifier that could tie either back to you. Creating an account stores exactly three things: an email address, an optional display name, and the compounds and stacks you choose to save.
Reading without an account
Pages are static and are served without asking you to identify yourself. A page view is counted, as described below. Anything you type into the calculators is computed in your browser and never sent anywhere. The one preference stored on your device is your choice of light or dark theme, kept in local storage so the page does not flash the wrong theme on reload. Clearing site data removes it.
Accounts
An account holds an email address, an optional display name, and your bookmarks — the compounds saved to your library and the stack layouts you save. That is the complete list. Signing in sets authentication cookies on your device; they exist only to keep you signed in. Health information, orders, and anything entered into the tools are out of scope, and your saved items are readable by no one but you — enforced at the database layer, not just the interface.
What is measured
Two things, both aggregate. Page views are counted by Vercel Web Analytics: cookieless, with no cross-site identifier and no advertising network behind it. It records the page, the referring site and a country — never a person.
Searches are recorded by this site directly: the words typed and how many results came back. That table has no column for an IP address, an account or a session, so a set of searches cannot be reassembled into one person’s history — a property of how it is built, not a promise about how it is queried. Anything shaped like an email address or a phone number is discarded rather than stored, and records are deleted after 180 days.
Why: to see which entries are read, to find what people look for and fail to find, and — stated plainly — to inform what gets written next and which compounds the affiliated supplier named on this site stocks. None of it is ever joined to customer records at that supplier or anywhere else. No third-party advertising trackers are used.
Your controls
Account settings include delete account. Deletion is immediate and permanent: the account row, the library, and every saved stack are removed together. Signing out removes the authentication cookies from your device.
Changes
This page is versioned with the site and updated when what we collect changes — not after.
